Commencement rehearsal will be held on Saturday, May 23rd at 10 a.m. on the Front Quadrangle. Graduates are asked to meet on the Back Quad between 9:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. in order to be lined up for the procession. All graduates planning to participate in Commencement are required to attend this rehearsal so they receive all the necessary information for the ceremony on Sunday.
Honor Society ribbons will be distributed at the rehearsal to be worn at the Commencement ceremony on Sunday. Ribbons worn by seniors represent the national honor societies to which they have been elected.
Commencement will take place outside on the Front Quadrangle rain or shine. In the rare instance that the potential for severe weather is in the forecast on Sunday, it is possible that the ceremony would be moved indoors to the duPont Chapel (see the Severe Weather tab for complete details). In this case, graduates will be given two tickets at the rehearsal to give to their guests for Sunday’s ceremony. If you are unable to attend the rehearsal, you will need to make alternate arrangements to pick up your severe weather tickets.
